Bad, bad kitty
Ophelia, Ophelia, where are you, you gluey tart?
Bring me a dream...

It's Sandman week over at the Hooded Utilitarian. I explain that I love Morpheus because he's stoic. And Goth. There's a Sandman essay by vom_marlowe too, about Brief Lives.

I haven't pimped the last few Gluey Tart columns, so let me take the opportunity to do that:
Kiss All the Boys
Black Sun
Archie digest
Yakuza In Love

And there's a review of Ooku: The Inner Chamber that might be of interest too (written not by me).

Oh, no! I missed all those Gluey Tarts...

and thanks for reviewing Black Sun, which I still haven't gone for (other things have come first).

I'd meant to be sure and do a post here so you'd know about Black Sun, but it's been a lousy month or so, and the memory is the first thing to go. I enjoyed it, but it isn't something I'd drop everything to run out and buy.

Not a problem - sometimes RL takes over with a vengeance. And it looks like I got the priorities straight anyway. %^D

I still think I'll get to it some day; hopefully it won't end up out of print before then...

BTW, have you ever heard of The Aristocrat and the Desert Prince? It sounds a little like another book that Yamane Ayano illustrated a few years back, but it just came out (different illustrator), and the descriptions I've read sound like they were written by people who knew next to nothing about the books.

Now I have to go read all my Gaiman graphic novels, thanks so much. :D

Sorry about that. I kind of felt the same way, actually. As if I didn't have enough to do, now I have to obsessively go back and reread ten volumes of Sandman. Super. But, oh, Morpheus.
