Hello again! This week, I'm discussing gratuitous cat reaction shots over at The Hooded Utilitarian. Well, I'm not discussing them. But I did mention them.

Also, I must say that I'm in an especially fine mood. I managed to sleep for eleven hours last night. Seriously, eleven hours. The whole world looks different to me today. Please share my joy.

Hello! (Starts off waving cheerfully, but then drifts into the English royalty wave -- elbow, elbow, wrist wrist wrist -- just because I like to do that and, really, how many occasions do I get?)

I've posted another yaoi review at The Hooded Utilitarian. Well, it isn't so much a review as, you know, a bit of a conversational ramble. That's how I like to think about it, anyway. Puts a nice spin on it, don't you think?

Another week gone, another Gluey Tart post over at the Hooded Utilitarian. This one is on Tale of The Waning Moon. See what you think!

(If I lapsed into another language accidentally or something, feel free to let me know - I'm in week two of the flu from hell and frankly, I don't always know what the hell I'm doing.)

I am not just sick; I am sick, and I have an earache. Which sucks. Insert frowny face here.

Despite this setback, however, I've posted another Gluey Tart column over at the Hooded Utilitarian, this time about A Foreign Love Affair, which I, er, love.

I have a review of Prince Charming over at the Hooded Utilitarian. There's an especially pretty picture at the end.

Links to the last two Gluey Tart columns:

I Shall Never Return
Kiss All the Boys

And has anybody read any good new SGA McShep fics? (No angst, please, we're a basketcase as it is. And I just used the royal we. See? We told you.)
19th-Sep-2009 12:06 pm - Birthday fic: Control Freak
floatng ran
Today we celebrate the birthday of [info]vom_marlowe! Happy birthday, Vom Marlowe! I don't know about you, but I can't think of a better way to honor her than a nice, dirty little Yoji-Aya hurt/comfort fic.

Story: Control Freak, part 1 of 2
Rating: X, NC17, mature, and so on
Word count: 4,300-ish
BTW: Weiss Kreuz is owned by Project Weiss.
Summary: Aya's injured during a mission, and Yoji, channeling an REO Speedwagon song, can't fight this feeling any more. (You say cliche, I say classic.)
Warnings: Language, violence, sex. Nothing I think of as kink, though, for better or worse.

It's Sandman week over at the Hooded Utilitarian. I explain that I love Morpheus because he's stoic. And Goth. There's a Sandman essay by [info]vom_marlowe too, about Brief Lives.

I haven't pimped the last few Gluey Tart columns, so let me take the opportunity to do that:
Kiss All the Boys
Black Sun
Archie digest
Yakuza In Love

And there's a review of Ooku: The Inner Chamber that might be of interest too (written not by me).

Hello again! I'm actually working on a fic to post, believe it or not, but in the meantime, over at The Hooded Utilitarian, I'm frothing at the mouth over Yakuza in Love.
freaked out
Howdy, all! After a multi-week delay that NOBODY NOTICED, I have finally posted another Gluey Tart column over at The Hooded Utilitarian. And I don't remember what it's about... Oh, yeah, there it is in the html coding. Lovers and Souls. That's kind of funny and ironic and stuff, for reasons you'll understand if you read the column. And then, oh how you'll laugh!

I just got back from this huge conference that tried to eat my brain, and I'd like to blame that, but I can't, really. Well, I could, but you'd all tsk at me because you'd know I was LYING.

It's good to be back anyway.
